An astonishing 40,000 private individuals have given a total of $ 8.5 million for the construction and maintenance of the Diospi Suyana Hospital.

Some 200 medical companies in Europe and worldwide have donated medical equipment worth $ 4.5 million. If we consider all the discounts on materials and the work of many volunteers the real value of the hospital exceeds 10 million dólars.

Long term financing: As a concrete goal, we are looking for 1,000 regular sponsors in the Western world, who will form an international support group. Until May of 2011 exactly 827 members had joint the association. Another source of income is generated through the Diospi Suyana Trustfund that was establised in Germany in March of 2004. The patients contribute approx. 30 % of the monthly budget. The Peruvian State is helping through tax returns and a discount on the electricity bill.
